program will begin with a complementary continental breakfast
followed by a publishers panel featuring: Danny Bakewell,
Sr. of the Los Angeles Sentinel; Pluria Marshall,
Jr., of the Los Angeles Wave, and Natalie Cole
of Our Weekly.
The journalists panel will include: Yussuf Simmonds, assistant
managing editor of the Los Angeles Sentinel and
the reporter of the Andrew Young story which garnered
national attention; Andre Herndon, editor of the Los
Angeles Wave, and Kathy Williamson, editor of Our
Weekly. There will be Q & A session following
each panel.
