MadTVs, Debra Wilson along with some consummate
industry professionals (i.e., producers, directors, managers and playwrights)
who will share the spotlight in the 1st Semi-Annual EMBODI Black Female
Festival (EBFF) on September 22nd through the 25th, 2005 at Edward
Vincent Park in Inglewood, California 90302. They will help pay tribute
to some up and coming artist showcasing the best in one-act original
works by African American Playwrights and bring honor to a variety
of talented Actors, Producers, Singers, Comediennes, Directors, Motivational
Speakers, and SpokenWord Artists.
The EBFF expanded over four days is designed to celebrate
the strong Black woman and showcase her talented works
of art. EMBODI Entertainment Company Incorporated Founder and CEO
Tasia Sherel will host the EBFF. EBFF will open with an
invitation only dinner & spokenword celebration, showcase theatrical
performances, staged readings, workshops, seminars, celebrity panel
discussion and an extravagant award dinner. Participating in
the EMBODI Black Female Festival is an important responsibility to
an entire community of artist souls in the bodies of women of color,
says Celebrity Panelist Debra Wilson.
Workshops, Seminars, Panels and the Awards Dinner will
be held at the Veteran Memorial Building at 330 Centinela Boulevard,
Inglewood 90302. Competitions and Performances will take place at
the Inglewood Playhouse nestled in the midst of the beautiful
and serene Edward Vincent Park located at 714 Warren Lane. For more
