Jay Leno and Samuel L. Jackson Join Lineup to Rally Support
Academy
Award winning actress Halle Berry will host The Silver Rose Weekend,
April 27 - 28th in Los Angeles, CA, to support American families who
are overcoming the nightmare of domestic violence. Celebrity friends
Jay Leno and Samuel L. Jackson will join the weekend lineup to rally
financial support for the women and children of the Jenesse Center,
a non profit organization that provides a wholistic, comprehensive
program to nurture victimized families back to a place of mental,
financial, physical and emotional well being.
The
annual Silver Rose Gala and Auction will kick off the weekend at the
Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows, Sunday, April 27th at 12 noon.
Jay Leno, Emmy Award winning host of NBC's top rated "The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno", comes onboard this year as the event auctioneer.
Karen Earl, Executive Director Jenesse Center said, "Mr. Leno
is one of the most compassionate, giving and kind people we have had
to join our fight to raise funds for these families, we are so honored
and excited to have him." The live auction will feature an opportunity
to bid on site, via phone and online, so supporters unable to physically
attend may still participate.

Berry on the greens with several Hollywood A-listers and registered

made history as the second African American woman to play in the Ladies
Professional Golf Association
Berry
