independent, non-partisan, group of individuals, organizations, and agencies (public and private) who promote and provide interactive evidence based support in community awareness, education and outreach services in the areas of suicide intervention strategies for the prevention of suicide for all military, entertainment industry professionals, sports associations, parents, schools, hospitals, business entities and eventually all the residents of California. We are accessible and available 24/7 days a week, 365 days a year. CALISPN) is to better prepare and help suicidal people not only with survival of their current crisis but to prevent them from recurring suicidal thoughts and promote their overall well-being through education, advocacy, provider training, linkage to treatment options, and hotline support. Our main demographic area is Southern California, but we promote this mission throughout the state of California targeting one county at a time beginning in Los Angeles County to reduce the reported number of suicidal behaviors per county by 100% each year.
