Emerald Dreams Cannabis Cultivation
GoVerde Incubator is a model that embraces the City of Los Angeles’ vision to right the wrong for the War on Drugs by positioning Social Equity entrepreneurs to obtain and maintain majority ownership in their cannabis businesses. The inaugural GoVerde Incubator consist of 4 cultivators working in partnership with the GoVerde Incubator manufacturer and distribution companies to develop and market brands through a curated ecosystem. The inaugural incubator is planned for 100,000 sq. ft. of industrial leased space in South Los Angeles, California. 41,000 sf is currently under lease.
Social Equity Ownership
GoVerde Incubator Social Equity entrepreneurs maintain between 33.3% to 90% ownership of their companies and several include a friend and/or family members as ownership partners to round out their operations teams. Economic empowerment of cannabis entrepreneurs will serve as a quintessential catalyst for recycling dollars within the local community through the provision of sustainable incomes and support of community reinvestment efforts.
GoVerde Incubator is also committed to implementing the City of Los Angeles’ mandate that the total payroll for each Social Equity venture consist for 50% local hire and 10% transitional hire employees. By the end of year four of operations, the GoVerde Incubator portfolio of companies are slated to employee over 75 local residents who live within 5 miles of the operating sites, all of which are located in South Los Angeles.
GoVerde Incubator’s facilities have the capacity to co-package products for influencers and local entrepreneurs and white label products for affiliated licensed retail cannabis stores helping them to brand their identity and target market specific demand within their local trade areas.
