How Can You Help?

In order to support these organizations we are going to need the help and participation from the community.

Company Participation: Do you work at a company with twenty-five or more employees? Most companies want to participate in a toy drive but don't know where to start. Talk to your company office manager or owner about placing a box in your lobby or lunchroom. We provide the box, signs and will arrange for the pick-up and distribution of the toys. This is an easy way for your company to get involved and give back to those less fortunate during the holiday season.

Alumni/Association Participation: Do you belong to an Alumni or school-based Association that would like to participate in helping to gather toys for the Toy Drive? Serve as a liaison between your alumni association, or other group with which you're involved and BlackNLA. Perhaps you could collect toys at a monthly meeting or pool resources to make a monetary donation on behalf of your alumni association. Contact us and together we'll come up with a plan that suits your group.

Drop-Off Locations: Do you work at a location that is open to the public or gets regular traffic from the outside public? Then your company would make a great drop-off location for those looking to donate toys. In the past we have had cleaners, banks, cellular stores, beauty salons, law offices and others act as drop-off locations.

As a participant, your company would be listed in our drop-off location section so that those who live and/or work in the area are able to drop off toys. We provide the box and signs, as well as arrange for the pick up and distribution of the toys. This is a great way to get exposure for your company and let the other BlackNLA members know where you are located.

Drop-off/Delivery: Do you have a flexible schedule? We are looking for people to assist us in dropping off and picking up the boxes for the Toy Drive.

Product Donations: Does your company manufacturer clothing or goods that can be donated to these organizations? These organizations are providing shelter and services year round and have a great need for other tangible goods, such as clothing, housing supplies, school supplies and more.

Public/Private Events: Do you currently host events or are you planning a holiday party? By encouraging your audience to bring a new unwrapped toy, you too can support the Toy Drive. This is a great way to get people involved and public events will be included in our listing of events that are participating in the Toy Drive.

Cash Gift: If you don't have the time to go shopping for a gift BlackNLA will go shopping for you. Feel free to send a check to BlackNLA.com, 8391 Beverly Blvd, #433, Los Angeles, CA 90048 (put Toy Dive in the notes section). We also have a paypal account contact us to use your credit card for the donation.

We have been contacted by other organizations for help but that will depend on the participation level we received from the community. So please take the next day or too and see if you are working in a location that can participate in our annual Toy Drive.
